Do you enjoy connecting with teens and helping them discover everything the library has to offer? Join us as a Teen Librarian!

You’ll create engaging programs for teens and preteens ages 11-18, provide welcoming reference and reader’s advisory services, and assist customers with library technology and digital resources. You’ll also build partnerships with local schools and help maintain a dynamic collection that reflects teen interests.

We’re seeking someone creative, approachable, and passionate about serving young people. If you enjoy building relationships and inspiring a love of learning, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Master of Library Science degree (MLS) from ALA-accredited institution required
• Public library experience preferred
• Experience with children’s programming preferred
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or French is helpful
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
