Company Profile

Company Overview

We are a rural library system in Western Wyoming nestled at the base of the Wind River Mountains and located an hour and a half from Jackson Hole.  Although remote, Sublette County Libraries prides itself on its cutting edge programming, marketing and technology. Our libraries in Pinedale and Big Piney serve as community centers, highly focused on serving the needs of the community with a comprehensive collection, dynamic programming for all ages, and welcoming meeting spaces. Our library in Pinedale was named "The Best Library in Every State" in 2017 by HuffPost and "Most Beautiful Library in Every US State" in 2017 by Business Insider.  Our Pinedale Library was also given the Western Mountain Region Distinguished Building Award for its 2009 addition, award winning in design and the first public building in the U.S. built from insulated rammed-earth walls.

We have a staff of 21 (10 of which are full time employees), a collection of dedicated paraprofessionals from different backgrounds, each with their own unique talents and strengths but all committed to going above and beyond in service to our community and its changing needs. A willingness to immerse yourself in our community and a love of the Western outdoor recreation lifestyle are a plus!  Please learn more about our community before applying: http://sublettecountylibrary.org/Community.htm
