Company History
Our historic link to the Cherokee Nation and Indian Territory makes Northeastern the oldest institution of higher learning in Oklahoma. One of only 23 colleges of optometry in the United States, we are also the university of choice for American Indian students with a longstanding history of preparing more American Indian graduates than any other public institution in the nation. NSU is a regional leader in healthcare education and has prepared the majority of educators in Oklahoma.
