Company Overview
NDL is building a community of lifelong learners who want to make Niles their lifelong home. We offer resources and programs that inform, entertain and enrich. We serve 25,000 in Niles, Michigan. NDL won the 2015 Michigan State Librarian’s Excellence Award and the 2015 Four Flags Chamber of Commerce’s Service Organization of the Year. We are committed to providing over-the-top customer service. Each year NDL has over 130,000 visitors come through our doors; we offer about 1000 programs for all ages with annual attendance of more than 20,000. We circulate more than 170,000 items and answer more than 180,000 reference questions annually. The Library shares a campus and works closely with the Niles History Center. Our 40,000 square foot building features several meeting rooms, a large, glassed-in rotunda that can accommodate hundreds of people and a small art gallery.
