Antioch University is inspired by our institution’s historic, progressive mission to provide students with the knowledge and skills to lead meaningful lives and to advance economic, social and environmental justice. Antioch’s first President, Horace Mann, implored graduates to “win victories for humanity,” and that has been our guiding light for over 166 years. Antioch University is a national not-for-profit higher education institution with hybrid, on-line and onsite degrees offered at five campuses and in university-wide venues, from undergraduate through doctoral education. Our programs are designed for adult learners. We believe our geographically dispersed university is strongest when we stand together to provide high quality, socially engaged education. Current foci in liberal studies, psychology, education, counseling and mental health, management, the arts and writing, and leadership and change. An Antioch education brings academic rigor, experiential learning and social engagement to learners across the country and the world. Antioch University Los Angeles (AULA) is located at 400 Corporate Pointe in Culver City, nestled between small beach communities like Marina del Rey and Venice, as well as the larger more vibrant cities of Culver City and Palms. Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) campus is located in downtown Santa Barbara, California within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and galleries and close to Santa Barbara's beautiful beaches and mountain ranges.
