The Garfield County Public Library District is seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent leader to serve as Branch Manager of the Glenwood Springs Branch Library, the busiest branch in our six-branch system.
This position combines professional librarianship with strategic leadership, staff development, community engagement, and branch operations. The successful candidate will lead a talented team, build strong community partnerships, champion excellent public service, and help advance the library's mission of connecting our communities to a world of possibilities.
Salary:
MLIS hiring range: $77,568–$85,519
Non-MLIS hiring range: $72,030–$79,413

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required) and four years of progressively responsible library experience, including at least two years of supervisory or management experience
- MLIS/MLS degree preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
