Interviewing
If you plan to attend the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Dallas, Texas,
be sure you come to the jobLIST Placement Center to talk to employers. They
are eager to talk to job seekers and will usually grant an interview
on the spot. If they are busy at the time, they will schedule an interview
for a time that is later in the conference. You are free to walk around
the Placement Center and talk to any and/or all of the employers there.
Visit the Recruiters at Conference page to see the list
of employers.
During the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Dallas, the JobLIST Placement Center
will be located in the Convention
Center, Level 2, Hall C. It will be open on Saturday and Sunday, January 21 & 22;
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
In addition to possibly interviewing, you can also get some tips on improving your interviewing skills by attending
some of the workshops being held during the ALA Annual Conference. Visit the
Workshops at Conference
